Terms & Conditions — Eternallee

1. About Eternallee

Eternallee is a digital timestamping and publishing platform that allows users to create written records (“Eternals”) linked to a blockchain proof record.

When an Eternal is created:

• the readable Eternal text is stored by Eternallee systems;
• a SHA-256 cryptographic hash derived from the final Eternal text is recorded on a public blockchain (currently Bitcoin SV);
• the blockchain record serves as a timestamped proof reference only.

The blockchain record does not contain the readable Eternal text itself.

Eternallee does not provide legal certification, notarisation, legal advice, or evidentiary guarantees.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Eternallee.

By using the service, you confirm that:

• you have legal capacity to enter into these Terms;
• the information you provide is accurate;
• you will use the service lawfully.

3. User Accounts

Users may be required to create an account to access certain functionality.

You are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
• all activity occurring under your account;
• ensuring your account information remains accurate.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Eternals

An “Eternal” is user-generated written content submitted through the Eternallee platform.

Users are solely responsible for the content they create, upload, publish, or share.

You must not create or share content that:

• violates applicable law;
• infringes intellectual property rights;
• contains unlawful threats, harassment, hate speech, or defamatory material;
• contains malicious software or harmful code;
• violates privacy or data protection rights of others.

Users should avoid including sensitive personal data, confidential information, passwords, financial information, medical information, or information they would not want others to access or redistribute.

5. Blockchain Hash Records

When an Eternal is created, Eternallee generates a SHA-256 cryptographic hash from the final Eternal text.

The hash is recorded on a public blockchain (currently Bitcoin SV) using an OP_RETURN transaction.

The blockchain record:

• is permanent;
• cannot be modified or deleted;
• does not contain the readable Eternal text itself.

A cryptographic hash is a digital fingerprint of content and is intended to allow later verification that a specific text existed in a specific form at a specific time.

Eternallee does not guarantee:

• legal validity;
• legal enforceability;
• evidentiary admissibility;
• ownership rights;
• authorship rights;
• authenticity beyond the technical hash verification process.

6. Sharing and Visibility

Readable Eternals are not written directly to the blockchain.

Readable Eternals may become accessible through Eternallee sharing functionality, including shareable links or pages generated by the platform.

An Eternal is only accessible to others if:

• the user shares the Eternal or its outputs;
• the share link or page becomes accessible to third parties.

Users acknowledge that shared content may be:

• copied;
• saved;
• forwarded;
• screenshotted;
• indexed;
• redistributed by others.

Deleting an Eternal later may not remove copies or redistributions made by third parties.

Users remain solely responsible for content they choose to share.

7. Storage and Deletion

Readable Eternal content is stored separately from blockchain hash records.

Users may delete readable Eternals and account data through Eternallee functionality or by contacting us, subject to:

• technical limitations;
• backup retention periods;
• legal obligations;
• fraud prevention;
• dispute handling.

Deleting readable content does not remove:

• blockchain hash records;
• third-party copies;
• cached or archived versions outside Eternallee’s control.

8. Payments and Credits

Certain Eternallee functionality may require payment.

Credits may be purchased individually or in bundles.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law:

• credits are non-refundable once used;
• unused credits may expire after a reasonable period disclosed at purchase;
• deleting an account may result in loss of unused credits.

Prices may change at any time.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.

Eternallee does not store full payment card information.

Service Changes and Unused Credits

If Eternallee permanently discontinues paid services, we will aim to provide users with reasonable advance notice where reasonably practicable.

During such notice period, users may continue using any remaining valid credits, subject to operational, legal, or technical limitations.

Nothing in these Terms guarantees perpetual availability of the service.

9. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of the content they create.

By using Eternallee, users grant Eternallee a limited, non-exclusive licence to:

• store;
• process;
• display;
• transmit;
• and provide the service functionality relating to Eternals.

The Eternallee platform, branding, design, and software remain the property of Eternallee or its licensors.

10. Service Availability

We aim to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Blockchain confirmations, network availability, third-party providers, and external systems may affect service performance.

We may:

• modify features;
• suspend services;
• discontinue services;
• perform maintenance;
• update technical infrastructure.

11. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eternallee disclaims warranties regarding:

• uninterrupted availability;
• fitness for a particular purpose;
• merchantability;
• legal effectiveness;
• evidentiary value;
• long-term accessibility;
• compatibility with third-party systems.

Users are responsible for maintaining their own backups of important content.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eternallee shall not be liable for:

• indirect damages;
• consequential damages;
• loss of data;
• loss of profits;
• reputational harm;
• third-party misuse of shared content;
• blockchain network issues;
• indexing or redistribution of shared Eternals;
• unauthorized access caused by user actions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

13. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

By using Eternallee, you acknowledge that blockchain technology involves permanent records that cannot be altered or removed once recorded.

However, Eternallee only records SHA-256 hash values on-chain and not the readable Eternal text itself.

14. Termination

Users may stop using the service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• violate these Terms;
• create legal or operational risk;
• misuse the platform.

Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination, including:

• liability limitations;
• blockchain permanence disclosures;
• intellectual property provisions.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
